24/7/365 for people in the Interior Region of BC.

How does it work?

The Interior Crisis Line Network (ICLN) is an innovative network linking five local crisis lines to provide 24/7 support across the Interior Health Region. 

The network is founded on the principles of providing 24/7/365 that truly C.A.R.E.s incorporating Confidentiality, Accessibility, Research, and Empowerment.  

Skilled and caring Crisis Line Workers answered over 20,000 calls in 2017/18.  Providing close to 300,000 minutes of compassionate support, skilled crisis de-escalation, suicide prevention & life-saving intervention.

In addition to providing 24/7 crisis line support through the regional Crisis Line Network (1.888.353.2273 (CARE)).  We also answer calls from the Interior Region on the provincial Suicide Line (1800Suicide) and provincial Mental Health Line (310-6789).

We are also have Crisis Chat and Text services from 5 PM- 9 PM Thursday through Sunday

There are many ways to contribute to strengthening the community safety net in your community by contributing to the Interior Crisis Line Network.  

Call volume has doubled over the last five years and though we're consistently answering as many calls as possible, the reality is the need in our communities often outweighs our resources.  

By volunteering, donating or raising awareness within yourself, you can make a powerful difference.

Working together we can create truly caring, connected, compassionate communities that are safe for everyone.
